Tomas Alva Edison went to school but his teacher thought he was stupid and then he was homeschooled. 

When Tomas Alva Edison was 12 he went on a train selling newspapers and candy. When he had  time off, he did experiments on the train.        

Tomas Alva Edison was deaf after a big injury with his ears. After a while, he got used to being deaf, and it helped him concentrate.

Tomas Alva Edison tried 1,500 times to make a long lasting light bulb then he finally got it.

Tomas Alva Edison invented a camera and a cement mixer.
